Query Ideas

Here are several ways that you might query for Line Item Detail:

  • Query without any FOAPAL parameters to view all line items for the funds and organizations for which you are responsible. This query returns all the data you are responsible for entering and/or approving, as defined in your Budget Development security profile.
  • Query with the code for your organization to view all the line items that you are responsible for entering. This query excludes line items for lower-level organizations that you may be responsible for approving, but not entering.
  • Query for state funds for an organization, to reconcile or compare budget amounts listed to what is allocated.
  • Query for ICR (fund code 200250), for an organization to view just these funds.
  • Query with a fund code of 3% to view any self-supporting fund types.

note NOTE: A state fund code is typically 1000xx, where xx is the current, two-digit fiscal year.
